Cookies are small text files sent by the server and saved to the device of the person visiting our Website (usually to a computer’s hard drive or to a mobile device). The basis for collecting information about Website Users is the legitimate interest of the Controller consisting in marketing of its products and services, conducting statistical and analytical analyses, ensuring the highest level of service.
Google does not use the collected data to identify the Website User and does not combine this information in order to enable identification. The website anonymises IP addresses, which means that in the territory of Member States of the European Union or other countries which are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area the IP address of the Website User shall be shortened beforehand by Google. The full IP address is transmitted to one of Google’s servers in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases only. With regard to the exceptional cases where personal data are transmitted to the USA, Google is certified to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. This means that the entity has undertaken to comply with the principles of personal data protection applicable in the European Union.
The legal basis for using Google Analytics is Article 6(1), first sentence, (f), of the GDPR, i.e. the legitimate interest of the Controller consisting in conducting analyses and keeping statistics, as well as advertising activities.
The data collected via Google Analytics are stored for 26 months.
Selecting appropriate settings in the browser makes it possible to prevent the use and storage of cookies on devices used by the Website User when browsing the Website. However, we would like to inform that this may lead to inability to use all functions of the Website.
It is also possible to block the saving and processing by Google of data generated by cookies relating to use of the website (including the IP address of the Website User). The website uses the Google AdWords Remarketing function of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).
The legal basis for the processing of the Website User’s data is Article 6(1), first sentence, (f), of the GDPR, i.e. the legitimate interest of the Controller consisting in direct marketing, conducting analyses and keeping statistics.
However, the data saved in cookies are not used by Google AdWords to create profiles of Website Users, which means that they are not used to link them to other personal data.
